Food and culture at Plaça Masadas
La Floristeria was a restaurant with a social product range at Plaça Masadas, at the heart of La Sagrera. A space for food and culture open to the neighbourhood, with long shared tables and the same approach to food we apply across the rest of the project.
This page keeps a record of activities the co-operative has run that aren't currently active. We keep them documented because they're part of where we come from, even once a project itself has come to an end.
If you remember eating there, or worked with us on it at the time, we'd still love to hear from you: write to us at the address below.

Holiday camps
Summer, Christmas and Easter camps in La Sagrera, with cooking, a vegetable garden and trips around the neighbourhood. The children really cooked and ate what they had made.
Veg boxes and meals for older people
A pick-your-own box of fruit and veg straight from local farmers, and daily meals for older people cooked the same morning.
Food to go
The lunchbox service: the same cooking as the canteen, packed to take away, for people working in the neighbourhood.
Farmers' market
We set up a direct-sale market in Plaça de Masadas so local producers could sell in the neighbourhood with no middlemen.
